The crank case ventilation system on my 98 2.8 z3 is original and crispy

My main question is whether the aftermarket parts fit ok

I am asking this because on my dads e46 325 people only recommend genuine because there are stories of aftermarket not fitting properly

Thanks Chris

Can't comment on OEM v after market but I replaced mine with a Febi one with part no 11157520035 and it was a perfect fit.

I certainly try for OEM parts on sensors etc

Used an aftermarket crankcase vent kit on my Z4, all fitted ok and was of decent quality, been on there for 2 years now no issues sourced from ebay. When it comes to sensors and Maf's always go oem Bosch or Siemens brands. Have had success with the odd Hass brand camshaft sensors, they are cheaper than the oem brands.
