One scruffy item on my Z3 are the aluminium kickplates on the door sills. There are quite a few spiders webs of corrosion. Any tips for refurbishment or are they available to replace? I’m guessing they’re glued on.

Thanks for that. I think I’ll have go at polishing them after seeing the price of a pair on the bay of thieves!

@AllanI These are good.
I bought a set of these around a year ago - but didn't get round to fitting them yet (don't want to fit them till me rebody is a little further along).

They're a nice heavy strip of metal with an adhesive strip on the back. I get the feeling that the maker expects you to just stick it over the top of the old one. That might be possible if the old one was nice a flat but I'd still remove the old one I think.

Only gripe is that the 'Roadster' engaving - at least on mine - is quite faint so not a readable from certain angles. But certainly looks miles better than my current manky ones.

I don't know if the ebay seller makes and engraves these himself? I might ask him - maybe he could engrave something different on a set for me?
