I do. My E89 was in Sopers yesterday for the recall.
Collected later in the afternoon, and, after a brief stop at our Gary's house on my way home, on starting, the EM light stayed on.
After tea I went out and cleared the one and only error code.

After a shuftie road the block, back in the garage the light stayed off, till this morning. So it's going back next Monday. FFS.
On top of that they say my oil is low and ready for changing (I did it 10 days ago).

Does that look low to you?

Getting less impressed with them as our 5 series went in for a recall for the EGR valve replacement. Booked in on the understanding it would be replaced as with Recall message from BMW UK. Got the video from the mechanic and were told 'yes we have checked the car and all in order'. Apparently they still haven't got the parts to replace.
At least ours had no fault codes. Give them a piece of your mind Tony

As I had a cam cover gasket leak on my E89 I was disappointed that mine wasn't on the vanos bolt recall list and sorted it at Zedshed Cymru with @colb. Given the issues I've been reading after people have had theirs done I'm not so disappointed

And the best of it is, today I had a phone call asking if I wanted to sell my Z4.

I just don't get it - how are you not coming away from Sopers grinning from ear to ear?

It's as if nobody gives a s*** anymore and providing a good service and making the customer happy doesn't matter as long as the opportunity to provide feedback exists.

Yeah that'll do the trick.
I will bet they offer a free service, multiple apologies from the dealer principle and a voucher for a mini-break to boot.
OR
They won't give a toss and try and charge £150 minimum for a 'diagnostics check'.

I am willing to open a book on the latter.

My 2006 118d had the airbag recall on Tuesday and a vehicle health check. I had a free screen wash top up and and just one advisory on the perishing front brake flexys. No attempt was made to upsell any work.
