Friends & Foes

I know we're all Friends on here but I'm curious what the Friends & Foes options would do or provide over and above the normal forum workings??

I tried adding Titan as a Foe, just to see what happened (I thought The Board would go round and sort him out )but it wouldn't let me - coz he's a mod !!!!

Friends and Foes

Friends enable you quick access to members you communicate with frequently. If the template has relevant support any posts made by a friend may be highlighted.

Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators.

That's a bit strange for foes , you will not fully see their posts but they can still PM you.... [-(

As Site Admin I can't FOE anyone. I have to read everyones posts :-@ :ymblushing:

So to test it out I just tried this as my 'secret identity', and the foe bit works fine. Hid the posts from a particular user I chose entirely at random It does make the thread read a little strange, but be aware that it only hides the posts from that person. It won't hide any quoted text in someone elses post!
