Still need to figure out which wires from the parking lights to tap into for the halos.
Install was fairly easy otherwise.

The wiring for running light usage of the halos was black to black, red to green. I used the wires off the replacement harness as not to mess with any of the OEM stuff
Went with the quick connect taps which I was worried about corrosion then thought to cover them in the sugru that did such a smashing job adhering my door handle covers.

After the sugru cures in 24 hrs I'll tape it up and should look clean.
Lessons learned:
- I originally taped the halo out wires as suggested on the interwebs but once I thought of using the sugru I decided to add some to the tape ends. Next time all sugru
- Pre-strip the insulation on the wires where you intend to place the tap. The light wires tend to use heavier shielding that may inhibit proper contact.
- Pay attention to the reveal of the light as it relates to the bumper and adjust accordingly
