There is nothing really wrong with my hood (blue)
It's just when I look at it I always think it wcould do with conditioning with a wax or oik type product as it looks dry.
Now I'm pretty much thinking out loud here but is there such a product?
I. Guessing wax used on products like Barbour wouldn't look the best.
As I said thinking out loud but recommendations thoughts a d opinions welcome

I always used the Autoglym kit on my Z3 roof.
It put a nice finish on the material which beaded water when it rained.

I used the full Renovo soft top restoration kit on mine

It includes a cleaner, a reviver, and a ultraproofer

All are put on by a paint brush

The reviver is a dye (that you can get in blue) and the ultraproofer makes the water bead, rather than soak in

I paid £48 for the full kit from Elite Car Care

Give it a good clean, and then apply some Fabsil Gold with a brush, rather than buy the spray can. Water beads brilliantly

Great waterproofing properties and much cheaper for more of it. Gives a decent finish too.

I've also used the Autoglym cleaner and proofer, and still have some in the garage
