hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself and show off my wee z3. It’s a 1.9 (m44) manual and it is my first car. Coming up on a 80k miles soon it’s had 5 previous owners. She has some small flaws and I’m definitely going to be looking for some advice but it’s not the worst and I’m quite proud of it ! I’ve only been driving for about a month (yes my insurance is absolutely ridiculous 🥲)
I’ve already replaced my thermostat, radiator and water pump so I’m off to a good start but I need to figure out my rough idle issue first IMG_6166.jpeg

Rough idle sounds like it probably a vacuum leak.

ahhh the sill rot out, its all do-able so dont stress out we've all been there, and at least if you have a garage to work in over winter you should be ok and ready for summer.
post more pics up of the underneath as it might not be as bad as you think. 👍
