New Tyres and why so cheap?

Hi to everyone, looking forward to warmer weather my Z3 is today coming off of Sorn and going to town for a new set of tyres. I've bitten the bullet after many years my Pirelli tyrse are not worn out but out of date. I'm looking forward to having a softer ride because I'm sure mine are rock hard. Buying Avon's as a compromise on Pirelli's being SO expensive and my use is normally in dry weather unless caught out. I avoided Asian cheapies and Avon is the UK's last maker of tyres. I'll let you people know how they compare. Talking of prices, Thursday saw a very tidy Z3 2.0 sold at SWVA for just £800. The bodywork was very tidy and while it only had half leather it was a steal. When will the value of our Z3's start to move upwards? Have a look at the results, some cars were truly cheap.

Avon ZV7s are a popular choice for a zed as they suit it very well, usually eliminating any tram lining. They tend to age quicker than the more expensive brands though. On prices rising ..we dont help ourselves here ..go look on Facebook Z3 owners/sales..most comments on sales threads are “that’s too expensive” or “you won’t get that for it”. Btw Half leather is a rare option
