Hi and welcome from me in Scotland :welcome:.

What you need is a code reader to help point you in the right direction.

Putting a code reader on it to see where its misfiring should be the first step to take in diagnosing whats wrong. As you found out you can throw parts at the car trying to cure it without knowing exactly whats wrong. Code reader is an essential piece of kit to have in your toolbox when you have a Zed.

Hi and :welcome: from me too in Stafford. As said above you need to get a code reader on it. If you put your location into your details there may be someone close by with one who may offer to help if you don't want to buy one. I have the Creator C310+, circa Ā£50 from usual online sellers.

Which reader have you got?
You must have bought the adapter cable to be able to connect to the socket in the engine bay? Sometimes these need a shot of contact cleaner before you get correct connection to the ECU.

Possibly a newer reader is the way to go for a start or get someone to read it for you.

Tony.
