As you may or may not be aware most Z3's were fitted with a space saver wheel fitted under the car (other than the M I think). You may also be aware that if you were unlucky enough to have a puncture your full size punctured wheel would not fit under the car where the space saver was fitted.
BMW provided owners with a thick large plastic bag for the punctured wheel which could then be placed on the passenger seat avoiding getting the interior dirty(won't fit in the boot). I guess if you had a passenger in the car you would have to hide the punctured wheel somewhere and retrieve it at a later time.
I have an unused original spare wheel bag. Ideal if you want to keep your car original and yours is missing or you want a spare one.
