Posted here as I’m sure the Z3/E85 guys must have trod this path many times..
The 3c year old rubber hoses that connect the calipers to the fixed lines are corroded / seized to oblivion…tried 5+ days of penetrating fluid / blow torches ..only one junction has come apart predictably the rest are starting to round despite using the correct spanner etc..
I’ve decided to buy 4 stainless ferrules and remake the connections with a DIN flairing tool..
Any words of wisdom / consolation / advice in the matter?
