Hi everyone and welcome to the Spring Scottish run 2025
The spring and summer routes from last year are getting re ran but swapped round as my spring run hotel isnt available in April.
I will get more detail posted up over next couple of days.
This run as all will be limited to 10 cars only .
But may add to number.

Update 5th January 25.
Hotel booking in place was in today struck a deal with the hotel .
So going with an old favourite that is now under new management has had a big refit and getting very good reviews.
So we are booked into the Abbotsford in Ayr.
Will set up a pm thread to sort rest of hotel details.
Day 1.
Leave hotel around 9.30 out onto A77 follow south about 4 miles to Minishant then follow the B7045 through Kirkmichael to Straiton where we turn left onto the b741 moors road and follow to the A713 at Dalmellington following the A713 south for 10 miles to Carsphairn where we will stop at the Carsphairn tea room for our first stop.
From just after Carsphairn we turn off onto the A702 we follow to Moniaive then a few miles on turn onto B729 following to Dunscore turn left onto single track section to A76 where we go straight across into entrance of Friars Carse which will be our lunch stop ( still to be finalised) .
Leaving Friars Carse turning right onto A76 following through Closeburn and Thornhill to Carronbridge turning right bavk onto A702 following through the Durisdeer pass
to the B7076 at Elvanfoot turning left and following for a couple of miles then turning left onto B797 ( just outside Abington) following through Warnlockhead and Ledhills into the Mennock pass
back to A76 turning left back to Thornhill for afternoon break then following A76 and A70 back into Ayr and back to the hotel.
Day 2.
Day 2 again leaving similar time turning left out hotel and right at top of road onto b7024 following into Maybole crossing the A77 onto b7023 into crosshill and then left onto b741 to Straiton following straight through this time over moors road
to our first stop at Gleentrool
then back following same road last couple of mikes to join A714 towards Newton Stewart going through the town then cross the roundabout at A75 then its follow a714 , a746 , a747 through Wigton and Whithorn to our lunch stop at ' The View ' in Port William
after lunch back on A747 to A75 then left towards Stranraer then taking A751 Stranraer bypass onto A77 following back towards Ayr we will take a break at Ballantrae
then following A77 through Girvan turning off at Turnberry past Trump Turnberry then we will follow the A719 coast road back into Ayr and back to the hotel.
