In the same week Jaguar unveiled a radical rebrand for its bold electric future, a small Berkshire-based car maker TWR revealed the antithesis; a 'new' classic Jag with a roaring 5.6-litre12-cylinder petrol engine.

Within days of Jaguar bosses showcasing a controversial new company identity, logos and advertising campaign, that aims the company to go all electric by 2026 the reborn TWR has showcased its limited-edition XJS Supercat, It is a modernised take on the iconic XJS coupe, which was produced by Jaguar between 1975 and 1996.

Thank God every car maker hasn't gone mad. ;)

I like that but it still looks like a 30 year old XJS.
I think I would rather find an original TWR 6 litre XJS and have that.

Always had a soft spot for the XJS. I would have one if they weren't all rotten and crap! :)

I had one, and it ended up as a brown stain on my drive, It rotted faster than I could fix it. The V12 was sweet though.

So you’ll never have one then, will you?

Tony.
