Apparently the corroded part at the rear, that failed the MoT, runs the length of the car and is also corroded at the front. The mechanic says all 4m needs replacing and this involves removing the evap system? Sounds expensive? Thoughts? Attached are some screen shots of a video they have sent.

Thanks all, the truth is - I’m not going to do the job on my own (not experienced or equipped at all). As such I’m tied to local garages. I have phoned around and got similar quotes.

All, I have just had the same issue. MOT fail due to a single brake pipe leaking and corroded. Quote for 2-3 hrs work sub £200. They also noted all pipes were in various states or corrosion and offered a full car replacement of around £750 for 8-10 hours work depending on the actual states...
