Hi everyone, bought this z3 a couple of weeks ago as a surprise 40th gift for my wife, she had no idea about it when i surprised her with it. It has always been her dream car and as I have a few cars i decided to move one on secretly to buy a z3. We've agreed it's a shared 40th present as i turn 40 in a few months and we'll both enjoy the car. I thought now was the time to buy one as I see them steadily rising in price and good ones will probably go out my price range. Now my wife has always said about a black z3 and as it is predominantly her gift I prioritised getting a black one over engine choice but having said that, I wanted that straight 6 sound as opposed to the 4 cylinder. So the car i ended up going for is this 2.0 facelift, that I believe to be a kyalami edition. It's done 49k and is in fantastic condition for a 20 year old car, it's actually surprised me how nice it is to drive and feels really solid. It won't b a daily as we both have everyday cars so its just a fun summer car to blast around the derbyshire dales where we live. I'm new to these so any info or opinions I'm all ears to you experienced z3 owners on here.

Hi from Hampshire (although I grew up just south of Mansfield). I got given my black 2.2 for my 40th also (from my wife). I used to own a similar car 04-07 and have always regretted selling. I was dumbfounded when I was given it, I hope your wife was equally happy.
