In 2016 it had done 130K. It's still in the MOT database as a Z3. Shouldn't that affect how it goes through MOT tests? I mean testing as a Z3 it should have air bags etc. But, personally, I do like the colour.

Personally I wouldn't like driving it unless it's locked down. Look at the catches under the bonnet see if you can move them. Might just need a bit of movement and lube. Or maybe the cable is rusted solid.
