This thread being re-started has booted me up the arse to get stuck into doing my wheel. Today isn't the day to go out and start it as it's dog horrible here but I'm onto it now......

Dave when Jack tried to disconnect my battery the alarm kepted sounding?so he tried to do it with battery still connected and it worked fine as he said as long as you don't turn on the ignition itshould be fine
...he must have done it before. Wouldn't do it myself, hadn't you got your alarm silence key with you?
