Like a lot of us at the moment I've had a bit of spare time so I decided to do something I've fancied doing for a long time. The real reason I bought some Imola red dye was because I fancied recolouring the ///M interior exactly as it would be in an ///M with Imola red and black seats, doorcard inserts and centre console. It has taken a while to do, probably around 3 weeks doing a few hours a day. I used the furniture clinic kit and refreshed the black centre sections of the seats and sides of the centre console whilst I was doing the rest. I did a couple of repairs to the drivers bolster and bottom section of the seat mainly filling in some scuffs. Some pics of the progress
The carbon wrap colour I chose gives a great contrast against the black and red on the centre console and doorcards I think
You may notice above that I also did the pull handles in red as well. Not how they would have been originally but I've seen a couple of others done like this and I think they look great![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
So that's the interior, I wonder what else I can dye??? Not much left but there are two other things I've dyed, one might be guessed easily but the other not so easily![Wacky :wacky: :wacky:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/wacky.png)
I'll post up some finished pics soon.
