Hi everyone and welcome to the Spring Scottish run 2026
The run will be held on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April 2026.
The spring route will be the same as i have done last couple of years ( spring 24/ summer 25)
I will get more detail posted up over next couple of days.
This run will be initially limited to 8 cars only .
But may add to number.

Day 1.
A few of you have done this route already i have just tweaked it a bit to fit the day better.
So Leaving the hotel we will turn left onto the A76 following towards Dumfries at the main roundabout we will turn left onto A75 then next roundabout left onto A701 which we will follow into Moffat first stop is at the carpark on left just as you come into town so after some chit chat and someone's bonnet being opened and things pointed at
we'll be back on the road.
Turning left out the carpark we take 2 rights at bottom of the high st to take us onto the A708 towards Selkirk we pass the Grey Mares Tail waterfall but popular walking route so you can bever get parked and dont really see it from the road when we get to St Mary's loch if the road quiet may try stop Cappercleuch AA box at the Gordon Arms hotel we will turn left onto the B709 towards Traquair then the A72 at Innerleithen which we follow into Peebles then left onto B7062 towards the lunch stop at The Courtyard cafe at Kailzie.
Leaving Kailzie taking the B7062 back to the A72 towards Biggar after around 12 miles we turn left back onto A701 following back to the carpark in Moffat where we stop for a break again.
Leaving carpark back up A701 for a couple of miles we turn left onto B719 then B7076 towards Abington then its left onto B797 through Warnlockhead and Ledhills back to the A76 at Menock then we follow A76 back to hotel.
Day 2.
Leaving hotel left onto A76 into A75 roundabout turning right onto A75 then left at next roundabout then around 1.5 miles turn right onto A710 following towards morning stop just outside Dalbeattie.
Leaving stop in Dalbeattie we go left onto A711 following to Kirkcudbright then onto A755 / A75 to Newton Stewart we stop in carpark behind the Bank of Scotland Leaving there is back to the A75 roundabout straight across onto A714 to Wigton then A746 / A747 to our lunch stop at The View at Port William
Leaving Port William we follow A747 back to A75 then right back to the carpark in Newton Stewart
Leaving Newton Stewart we join the A712 to New Galloway then onto A702 to Moniaive then B729 Dunscore turn left back to A76 and hotel.
