Hey everyone I have a 1998(pre April) Z3 2.8 and have done extensive amounts of revival on it.
Now I have a problem where the car when in neutral, backing up or accelerating in low RPMs it makes a really obnoxious wobbling sound..
The drive shaft freely turns about 30° both ways when its parked and makes a similar clanking sound when I turn it side to side by hand. What do you think the problem is.. I was thinking it was the bearing at the back of the gear box drive shaft coupler.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
