I’ve had the crankcase breather on the z3 replaced today and when I moved the car back into the garage I found this little piece of plastic on the drive.
I’ve searched the part number on it but google isn’t finding anything.
What is it and should I be looking to replace it?

Only time ive seen a threaded adjuster like that was on the headlights Z3 2001. Cant check on mine currently.
Looks clean and new so must be in place protected from the weather??..

My first thought was also something with the headlights, but I just checked my car and the adjusters are completely different. I wonder if this is something to do with cable/hose-management. I took a look around my engine bay and couldn't find anything that looked like that though.

I came up with this,,,

Based on the identification number 12.52-7 500 723 visible on the part, this item is a genuine BMW Fuel Line Holder Bracket. [1]
  • Vehicle Compatibility: This bracket is designed for various BMW models, including the 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, X3, X4, X5, X6, and X7 G-series.
  • Material: The part is constructed from PA6 GF15, which is Polyamide 6 with 15% glass fiber reinforcement, providing high strength and thermal resistance.
