Quite surprised the local breaker near me has a Z3 in. Anything worth taking had gone and the rest was pretty much toast. Drivers door card and handle were there..but as always the internals were snapped. I did manage to get a couple of small parts I needed though including an intact drivers seat belt guide with the backing plate and a chrome boot lock surround..all for under £10.

Had my wheels refurbed, like new now. 
All new underseal ready for the Palmetto 2.8's new owner tomorrow...
Fair point ..not even a close up so we don’t noticeCan't post a photo @AntStark, with the wheels looking new the rest of the car looks like a bag of nails.
New pistons and bearings arrived today.
Back to the local breakers this morning to see what else I could salvage from the Z3 before they crush it. Got a couple of rarities. Drivers dash vent with the clip in tact ! (that took a while to get out) and a humpless boot carpet for an electric roof car… cleaned up well and perfect for my 3.0

What did you clean the boot carpet with?
Connecting rods arrived. So now I have everything for the bottom end.

Some sort of magic wipes for bird muck.
Close enough Mark. They're what people use to get flies off the windscreen. They are the sheets you put in a drier. The screen was worse than the bodywork. It is Lovebug time of the year.
