I'd be interested to know what you think about Hughes bros and their prices e30Derbyshire. I haven't used them, but I've seen good reviews. Although when I saw what somebody had paid for a service it seemed a lot.

Leather seat restorer. Seems a bit dry does the leather and ill guess itll start the Z3 prone cracking.
Shame the leathers not a quality item, colour wears away.

Hi, I have nothing but praise for them, I’ve used them for the past six years, always found them helpful and accommodating, and I trust them implicitly. They have experienced technicians who aren’t phased by 80s and 90s cars, and their work has always been top notch. They diagnose faults properly, use quality parts, but don’t just engage the parts cannon, which is reassuring. With the Z3 we’ve agreed to stage the jobs needed on a priority basis and I didn’t feel under pressure to suddenly commit to lots of work and expense in one go.
I guess the labour charge of £110 per hour isn’t cheap, but they are BMW specialists and you get what you pay for, I’ve never felt unfairly billed for labour time.
They recommissioned my E30 after 15 years in storage, treated it like their own, and I literally had zero problems with the car once it was back on the road.

Holy Moly, but I suppose an Oil Service for around £150 is not too bad.

Not strictly bought this week, in fact I bought them back end of last year. But today was the day for fitting. Easy enough job, hardest part is getting the seats out.

I've seen a few replace these. How do you know they need replacing, daft Q maybe but what triggers the need, does the seat wobble, not slide back and forth etc ??.
