Tyres are 255/40/18 rears and 245/40/18 fronts off memory.
I think Grumpy is misrememberingYour tyres are too wide on the front, 225 is the maximum you want to run up there,

You could be right @GazHyde. I really can't remember without having a look. If that is right and I have a stretch on the front tyres to clear the suspension arm they really are to big then.I think Grumpy is misrememberingFrom memory they are the same size as mine which are 225/40/18 up front!
Just had a look at one of the photos I took on our Cruise back in November Dave. I can confirm your fronts are Falken 225/40 ZR18 92Y. I would post the image but it does show Reggie in a bit of a stateYou could be right @GazHyde. I really can't remember without having a look. Not sure on 18" wheels Dave. All I can say is mine are 225/45 ZR17 which are the recommended size, but I'm on 17". Perhaps you should be on 225/35 on 18" wheels???Thanks mate. Is that the right size then?![]()
That would explain the "stretch" Dave seeing as you're not on staggered rims. 30mm narrower tyre on the same width rim. Thanks mate. Is that the right size then?![]()
Correct !the front i have is 225/40r18 and the rear is 255/35r18, isnt the 40 and 35 wall height as a percentage of the width 225 or 255?
Details here. Search my Z3's Facebook album for Wire Wheels. They are very easy to keep clean with a home pressure washer. They are quite heavy so you lose a bit of acceleration but Gain n a bit is ride smoothness. Some hate them, but I love them and feel that the retro styled Z3 is made for Wire Wheels. https://www.facebook.com/Z3-Naughtius-Maximus-454676611359968/certainly not cheap, and prob a real pain to clean, but nice though
My Z3 is on the Dayton Wire Whees website. http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/gallery/sportscars.phpcertainly not cheap, and prob a real pain to clean, but nice though
I do Shelly! The ones that are on it won the vote hands down so there staying put!Do you know what wheels you are getting yet @Grumpy![]()
